Efficiency Manitoba has released a $25 000 rebate program that offers business a rebate of $0.50 per direct current (DC) watt installed on businesses connected to Manitoba Hydro’s grid, up to a maximum of 50 kW and $25,000 per building.
The Government of Canada launched it’s new budget on March 28,2023 with solar in mind:
- Clean Technology Investment Tax Credit:A refundable 30% tax credit on capital cost of investments made by taxable entities in wind, solar PV and energy-storage technologies. This Credit will be available to all project spending starting today, March 28, 2023, though to 2034
- Government of Canada Incentive 2: Capital Cost Allowance – Solar is eligible for accelerated capital cost allowance will provide a 100 percent deduction.
