Yes, your system will generate power in the winter, and as an added bonus the panels produce heat which will melt light snowfall. However, if your panels are covered in snow they can’t produce electricity. Snow generally isn’t heavy enough to cause structural issues with your panels, however, we do recommend cleaning off masses of snow so it doesn’t interfere with your production rate.
